Tranmission & P/S fluid tips from our pros
Maintaining your transmission is just as important as changing your motor oil.
So remember to:
- Schedule regular maintenance as outlined in your owner's manual
- Check the transmission fluid whenever you change your oil
And never:
- Change gears from drive to reverse when the vehicle is moving
- Spin tires on turns, especially with front-wheel drive vehicles
- Drive your vehicle when it has transmission problems. You could do further damage and end up with major repair bills!
